During the latter weeks of 1999, while the world was preparing for the new millenium by planning for themselves wine, song, and revelry, there was a group of dedicated Christians who were on their knees praying to God for the opportunity to take to the world a message of new hope, new wine, and a new song of praise.

On January 1, 2000 these people were allowed to announce to the neighborhood around 1223 West Maple and the world.

The purpose of Hallmark Independent Baptist Church is to bring the Gospel (good news) to the neighborhood around the building at 1223 West Maple in Enid, Oklahoma, and far beyond.

The truth of God's Word (the Holy Bible) tells us: "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God," and "the wages of sin is death" (eternal separation from a good and righteous creator). The good news is that God has made a way whereby whosoever will come to Him with a broken and contrite heart because of their sin, and plead the blood of Jesus the Christ to cover their sin, then He (God) will forgive, and not cast them away from Him and His love, but will embrace them as His own children forever.

Jesus said, "If you will confess me before men, then I will confess you before the Father which is in Heaven."

The bad news is that God will not hold you blameless if you allow His Son (Jesus Christ) to die in vain for your sins.

WHAT WILL YOUR ANSWER BE?
